Home & Living
Jaipur Blue Pottery is a traditional and highly distinctive form of glazed pottery originating from Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is widely recognized for its vibrant blue colors, intricate hand-painted designs, and its unique, clay-free composition. Here are the key characteristics that define it: A "Clay-Free" Ceramic: Unlike traditional pottery, Jaipur blue pottery does not use regular clay. Instead, the dough is crafted from a unique mixture of quartz stone powder, powdered glass, Multani Mitti (Fuller's earth), borax, gum, and water. The Signature Blue: The craft gets its name from the striking, deep blue color used extensively in its designs. This color is achieved using cobalt oxide. A secondary turquoise hue is often achieved using copper oxide, while modern variations sometimes include yellows, greens, and pinks. Persian and Mughal Influence: The art form has Turko-Persian origins, which is reflected in its aesthetic. The motifs are heavily inspired by nature, featuring intricate floral patterns, arabesques, and animal figures (such as birds and deer). Single Firing Process: The pottery is fired only once in a traditional kiln at relatively low temperatures (around 800°C to 850°C). This makes the final product more fragile and brittle than standard high-fired ceramics, which is why it is predominantly used for decorative purposes rather than heavy-duty serveware. Common Products: Because of its delicate nature and beautiful glazing, this technique is typically used to create decorative items such as wall plates, vases, coasters, tiles, door knobs, and small ornamental bowls.

Sourcing standards
For international buyers, handmade sourcing must still be clear, measurable, and repeatable. These standards keep the romance of craft connected to practical buying decisions.
Each product family is quoted with a realistic MOQ range, so buyers can plan assortment, budget, and shipment scale before development begins.
Bulk production begins only after the buyer approves material, finish, size, colour direction, packing need, and final sample reference.
Orders are planned around confirmed demand. This keeps the offer lean, reduces dead inventory, and respects the rhythm of handmade production.
Where appropriate, the product record carries artisan credit, craft process, region, material note, and design-house involvement.
Dimensions, material mix, colourways, size options, sample lead time, production lead time, and packing notes are kept with the product record.
Branding, swing tags, labels, cartons, inserts, and buyer-specific packing can be discussed where the product and MOQ make it practical.
Selected products carry a Craft Record that connects the object to maker, material, region, process, and approved production batch.
Export cartons, inner protection, labelling, documentation, and dispatch checks are treated as part of the product brief, not an afterthought.
Felt, textile, pottery, wood, metal, and mixed-material products are reviewed against the checks relevant to their material and intended use.
Export quality
International standard claims must be specific and document-backed. The website will present the quality process without making unsafe blanket claims.

Catalogue logic
The catalogue is built as a sourcing map. A buyer may begin with a Christmas programme, a hotel room mood, a pet accessory line, a blue pottery table story, or a material brief. The same product can still remain traceable through category, subcategory, material, use, occasion, process, buyer type, and MOQ band.
Choose the product family first: festive, Home & Living, pet, pottery, furniture, bags, or lifestyle accessories.
Filter the story through wool felt, cotton, wood, metal, blue pottery, block print, stitch, or mixed material craft.
Build buyer edits for Christmas, hospitality, corporate gifting, conscious retail, home styling, or daily-use collections.
Every selected product carries MOQ, lead time, sample path, specification sheet, and maker record before quotation.
